919 Marketing is a national communications firm located just outside of Raleigh-Durham, NC.

As a part of my internship, I did a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, creating media lists, campaign research and tracking,
social media content curation and management, media outreach, and graphic design projects.

Big Muddy Challenge
One of the main projects I worked on for my internship was the Big Muddy Challenge. The BMC is a 2 mile, 12 obstacle, family friendly mud run for parents and kids to do together. This "race" is a developing company, but has been holding challenges on the east coast since 2013. Below are a few projects I worked on for them.
Logo Design
When we took on the Big Muddy Challenge as a client, one of our worries was that their logo didn't quite fit the audience they were targeting. However, we ran into some difficulties with the logo design because of cost restrictions for promotional material. Below you will see the final design, along with a few of may other variations that I developed throughout the process. In the end, the owner decided to go with the logo he liked in a black and white format to cut down on costs for marketing materials, such as flyers, tshirts, trailer decals and many other things.
Facebook Ad And Blogger Photos
As a part of our campaign, we ran multiple Facebook ads and teamed up with local Mommy and Fitness bloggers to raise awareness about our event. I created a playful version of the logo that was put on each photo. Here are some examples:
