Down the road, and not too far away, is a 55-acre public botanic garden on the Campus of Duke University. It is a place of beauty, dedicated to learning, inspiration and enjoyment through excellence in horticulture. Founded in 1934, Susan P. Duke Gardens is now considered one of the top 10 public gardens in the United States. It features four separate gardens with individual focuses. These are the Historic Garden, H.L. Blomquist Garden of Native Plants, W.L. Culberson Asiatic Arboretum and the Doris Duke Center Gardens. Take a look below to learn a little more about each garden.

H.L. Blomquist Garden of Native Plants-

W.L. Culberson Asiatic Arboretum-
Representing the wealth of floral diversity in Southeast Asia, this garden includes the Durham-Toyoma Sister Cities Pavilion and Garden, a garden pond and a pond viewing shelter. https://gardens.duke.edu/about/asiatic-arboretum
Doris Duke Center Gardens:
